Painting — day six — departure
May 11th, 2007 by robfelty
The three of us worked pretty hard for five days, and had a lot to show for it. It was time for Harold and Rob to head back to Michigan — Harold to his golf games and unstained doors, Rob to his dissertation revisions and mounds of e-mail. Dave is staying a whole week yet, during which time he will work a bit more on the long TODO list.

I’m curious what the total monetary value of all the labor you’re putting into the house is. Wealth creation in action! (cf Mind the Gap by Paul Graham; recommended!) We clearly have very different utility functions when it comes to this kind of work. But maybe if it could be turned into an aerobic activity… :)
PS, I like Rob’s shirt.
