Friendfeeding family
Friendfeeding family

Today we took Spencer with us to Target, which was the first time we had taken him out of the house since he came home from the hospital. We planned it so that we left just after feeding him, and he was very cool. He was awake during part of it, but did not fuss at all. We even got to have lunch at our favorite Thai restaurant by our house.

We also decided to dress Spencer in his Friendfeed onesie today. Once I saw Louis Gray’s kids in them, I knew I had to have one! For the picture hungry, there are more in the friendfeed album

Grandma Felty holding Spencer

Testing out the video camera a bit. Grandma Felty has really enjoyed holding Spencer. If Grandpa Felty gets over his cold before he leaves, he will get his chance too. We’re happy to have him be our videographer for the moment.

When we swaddle Spencer, we think he looks like a baby burrito. This afternoon we burritoed him up and let him sleep in the sun for a bit. He tolerated it for about 30 minutes or so. He is still not too wild about the sun, but we are trying to make sure he gets his vitamin D.

Spencer learning the ABCs
Spencer learning the ABCs

Grandma Dibble (Ellen) got us fully outfitted with cribs, bumpers, and a comforter for the crib. She found a great deal on some ABC patterned stuff. We are hoping that Spencer will start to learn them just by being covered with them. For those craving more photos, check out the ABCs photo album
