Before things really got going, Rob read some of Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You Mr. Rosewater. We particularly like this passage:

“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’ ”

  1. Look what we found in the park in the dark.
We will take him home. We will call him Clark.

He will live at our house. He will grow and grow.
Will our mother like this? We don’t know.

  3. What a cutie and what a joy! Experiences beyond your wildest imagination await you. Can’t wait to meet him in a few weeks!

  4. You two do good work. You have a handsome healthy son, can’t ask for more. Looking forward to seeing him in a couple of weeks. Even as young as he is I’m sure there must be some bad habit I can teach him.

  6. Welcome little one. You have so many who have waited for your arrival. You are my first “great” nephew. Getting old is worth it just to be called great! Love and good wishes for you and your parents and grandparents. It is wonderful to see you in pictures, new technology has benefits after all. I look forward to meeting you soon. Love, Great Aunt Jean
