We have been working for several months with Spencer to get him to climb down things safely. That is, not head first. This includes beds, couches, and stairs. He is finally starting to get the idea. Every once in awhile he still tries head first, but after a little reminding, he goes back to feet first. Here is a little video of him climbing down the stairs by himself.
